Belia Says is a project under the Sabah Action Body Advocating Rights (SABAR), created to encourage thoughtful discourse, empower youth voices and cultivate a culture of informed participation among young Sabahans.

The initiative features a podcast series produced in collaboration with Kopitiam Council, highlighting real stories, real challenges and real aspirations of youth from different backgrounds. Each episode explores themes such as civic awareness, community leadership, Sabah rights and the lived experiences of young people navigating today’s social and political landscape.

At its core, Belia Says believes that youths deserve respect, space and meaningful involvement in shaping Sabah’s future. Their voices matter — and the future is stronger when we listen.
