About Us
Who We Are
SABAR is an acronym for “Sabah Action Body Advocating Rights”.
Registered under the Trustees (Incorporation) Ordinance (Cap. 148) on 13 April 2021, SABAR is a non-political and non-religious institution, and has a special focus on pursuing the rights of Sabah and Malaysians in Sabah as originally understood and agreed upon.
Creating Awareness
We create awareness amongst Malaysian in general and Sabahans in particular through historical education of the formation of Malaysia as a Federation.
Research
We study, research, acquire and collect evidence, testimonies,
constitutional documents and other relevant historical
documentation in relation to the Malaysia Agreement 1963.
Impact
Assess, analyse and realise the extent of the impact of the
formation of Malaysia on the lives of the people.
Taking Action
Take affirmative action for the rights of Sabahans including
legal action in pursuant to the Malaysia Agreement 1963.
Unity
Support and complement the government’s initiatives to
promote and encourage unity, harmony, equality and social
justice in Malaysia in general and Sabah in particular.
